很多小伙伴會(huì)說，就說some或a few表示幾個(gè)，然后many friends表示很多幾十個(gè)朋友。
但是實(shí)際上，英語中還有更精準(zhǔn)對(duì)應(yīng)的表達(dá)噢！我們來看一下到底是哪幾個(gè)。
1）“幾個(gè)”英語怎么說？“幾個(gè)”英語可以直接說a couple。
對(duì)的，你沒看錯(cuò)，就是我們經(jīng)常看到的couple，俗稱cp表示對(duì)象。
看下Couple的英文解釋：
If you refer to a couple of people or things, you mean two or approximately two of them, although the exact number is not important or you are not sure of it.
a couple of...可以表示“兩個(gè)”或“一對(duì)”，但是也可以表示兩三個(gè)，幾個(gè)這種泛指。
英語例句：
① He thinks you two are a couple.
他覺得你倆是一對(duì)。
② There are a couple of things I want to discuss.
有幾個(gè)事情我想討論下。
但是要注意：在口語里有時(shí)省去of，比如 a couple hours幾個(gè)小時(shí)，a couple more tables再多幾個(gè)桌子。
2）“十幾個(gè)”英語怎么說？“十幾個(gè)”的英文我們可以借用dozen。
很多人會(huì)說dozen不是一打，表示12個(gè)嗎？不急，我們看下英文解釋：
If you have a dozen things, you have twelve of them and you can also refer to a group of approximately twelve things or people as a dozen.
也就是說a dozen可以表示一打12個(gè)（如一打雞蛋叫a dozen eggs），但是，也可以表示大約12左右，十幾個(gè)的意思。
但是為了區(qū)分，如果要用a dozen表示十多個(gè)（vague含糊表達(dá)），最好說成about a dozen或者a dozen or so這種表達(dá)更佳。
英語例句：
① He ordered a dozen red roses.
他訂了12支玫瑰。
② I‘ve done it, like, a dozen times. (選自《生活大爆炸》)
我都做這個(gè)，大概，十多次了。
* 這里加了個(gè)like，有思考一下含糊給出答案，所以可以翻譯成十多次。
3）“幾十個(gè)”英語怎么說？“幾十個(gè)”的英文我們還是用dozen，只不過是dozens of，這里要加上of哦。
英語例句：
① Two people were killed and dozens were injured in the clash.
這種沖突造成兩人死亡，幾十人受傷。
② Dozens of students got together.
幾十個(gè)學(xué)生聚在了一起。
