零度得表示方法：zero degrees centigrade，這是習慣用法，degree作為可數(shù)名詞，1度不用加“S”。
零度以下得溫度得表達：例如 —5℃，一般我們有兩種說法。
第壹種，直接用minus，然后后面加上度數(shù)就可以了，因此它可以說成是minus five degrees,往往這時候我們會把centigrade省略不說了；
第二種是把溫度說在前面，然后后面再加上below zero ，所以零下5度就可以表達成five degrees below zero,當然還可以把zero換成freezing，five degrees below freezing.
有時在口語中，degrees還常常會被省略掉，直接說成five below zero或five below freezing例如：那天天氣很冷，零下五度。It was rather cold that day, five below zero. 不過第壹種用minus表達得更常見和地道些。
